ROT: Lender Being an Equal Client

6.4a of the new CQS (CPMS) requires conveyancing lawyers to make it clear that the lender is also a client where a practice is acting for both the borrower and the lender client. The sample paragraph sets out Important advice to the borrower client explaining your obligations to the lender as an equal client. This includes placing the borrower on notice of requirement, in certain situations, to make disclosures and the potential for conflict of interest.
