Rationale:
Many firms are not aware that they should be on the EPF register in order to be obtaining title insurance. This means that, under FCA rules, all of the policies they have placed since 2018 could be deemed invalid. And, of course, if there's an event that gives rise to a claim, and the policy is invalid, it's a potential claim by the client against the firm's PII. This suggested wording sets out the position in the firm's Terms.
